We made it to another park in the area today – Crystal Lake Park, weird but another park that is just a few miles down the road, and weirder than that, is it is located next to a school and church, and yes, there are alligators in this park, and there are NO real fences keeping them from going wherever they want – so yes, watch your step, and keep the dogs on a leash:)
The park is very nice, pretty clean (some folks should be ashamed of themselves for throwing trash out:( ). It’s a nice Wooden walking path around the body of water with several places that look like places the alligators sun bath.
Really the only thing about it, is that it’s a short walk with a nice on-site building were you can get all kinds of information.
