Just letting you know, I’ll have a piece up on our day in Charleston later on this week.
Before we got to Charleston, we decided to stop at Angel Tree Park. Home to a 400+ year old Oak Tree.

We went to Charleston Tuesday, seeing we were going to have a crazy last 20 days or so here in Beaufort. The trip was planned to go to the waterfront park, have a meal, and then go to the Apple Store to get her a new iWatch. Got got 2 of the 3 done. The one we missed was a good meal. We choose to stop and eat at Poogans Smokehouse. We both had pulled pork sandwiches, and while mine was ok, her’s should have been called Pulled Fat:( We didn’t say anything, but decided later, that from now on, it cost way to much to eat out, if we don’t like it, we are going say something.
I wasn’t going to put a link, but your meal might be better, so hey, give them a try and heck, we don’t know what they would have done if we would have said something, so go ahead and give them a try.

So after our meal we decided to walk to the Apple Store as it showed as .9 of a mile away, soon we went. We stopped at a Little Christmas shop along the way and picked up a few tree ornaments for some folks on our Christmas list. We continued on our way to the Apple Store, and once we got there were greeted quickly and told we were 3rd in line to speak with a rep on iWatches. This gave my wife time to look online to see what she wanted and show them and cross our fingers they had it in-stock. 10 minutes or so later, they came over, asked what we wanted, we pulled it up on the screen of one of their iPads on display, they checked, they had it, we checked out and were on our way in about 5-7 minutes . Pretty quick and painless (other then paying, that’s always a bit of a pain) it went smoothly, and we were off to find our car and head back to Beaufort.
